Folded fan, the silk leaf painted with two bunches of flowers in the side panels. In the centre, a scene of a family reunion. High society parents are visiting their child who has been placed with a nurse in the country.

An engraved, silvered and gilded white mother-of-pearl mounting of a country trophy including a sack, rake, birdcage and watering can. The plumes are adorned, one with a small mirror and the other with a sheaf of wheat on a mother-of-pearl background.
