Description
JUMEAU doll. Bisque head, blonde hair, fixed eyes, pierced ears, closed mouth, flexible white leather body, with ‘Jumeau médaille d’or Paris’ marked on the back. Circa 1880–1890. Height: 40 cm. The underwear, shoes and the remaining earring certainly suggest an original Parisian-style outfit, which has been replaced by a homemade nurse’s uniform (presumably from the First World War). Signs of wear on the hands. - This lot can be delivered to your door anywhere in mainland France from €15.72 and across Europe from €30.00
