- 1 photograph of Gordon emerging from his Mercury capsule following a problem that occurred 12 minutes before launch, which was originally scheduled for 14 May but was subsequently postponed to 15 May. Vintage NASA black-and-white print (20cm x 25cm) with a caption on the back, bearing the number 63-MA9-128.
- 1 photograph from launch day: Donald Slayton (astronaut director), Gordon Cooper and his backup, Walter Schirra, having breakfast before the launch.
