Silver medal commemorating the Saturn V rocket used on Apollo 4, mission AS 501: 9 November 1967 marked the very first flight of the Saturn V rocket, intended for lunar missions, during which the operation of its three stages and re-entry into the atmosphere were validated (unmanned test flight).
