Vintage NASA print (20.5 cm × 25.5 cm), captioned on the reverse and bearing the number S-73-34615. -Also included is a stamped and postmarked envelope showing the astronauts being reunited with their wives, dated 27 September 1973. 9 x 16.5 cm. SKYLAB MISSIONS – Skylab, the first American orbital station, launched on 14 May 1973 as Skylab 1-SL-1. It disintegrated on 11 July 1979. Skylab 2 SL-2: first manned flight on 25 May 1973 with Pete Conrad, Joseph Kerwin and Paul Weitz: they installed a makeshift sunshade made of Mylar and nylon (thermal insulation) and released the undeployed solar panel. 28-day mission.
