Set comprising a Skylab 2 bronze medal with chain (4.5 cm) in a plastic box (5.5 cm × 8 cm) + a silver-coloured Skylab pin in a small box (3 cm × 3 cm). SKYLAB MISSIONS – Skylab, the first American orbital station, launched on 14 May 1973 as Skylab 1-SL-1. It disintegrated on 11 July 1979. Skylab 2 SL-2: first manned flight on 25 May 1973 with Pete Conrad, Joseph Kerwin and Paul Weitz: they installed a makeshift sunshade made of Mylar and nylon (thermal insulation) and freed the solar panel that had failed to deploy. 28-day mission.
