Apollo-Soyuz commemorative frame comprising two stamps cancelled on the day of launch, plus a silver medal. Limited edition. 12cm x 26cm. Apollo-Soyuz (ASTP, standing for Apollo-Soyuz Test Project) was the very first joint space mission between the Soviet Union and the United States, which took place from 15 July to 24 July 1975. On the American side, the crew consisted of astronauts Donald Slayton, Thomas Stafford and Vance Brand. On the Russian side, astronauts Alexei Leonov and Valery Kubasov completed the crew.
