Colour poster (May 1975) showing the 138 orbits of the Earth planned during the Apollo-Soyuz mission. 56 cm × 1.40 m. Apollo-Soyuz (ASTP, or Apollo-Soyuz Test Project) was the very first joint space mission between the Soviet Union and the United States, which took place from 15 July to 24 July 1975. On the American side, the crew consisted of astronauts Donald Slayton, Thomas Stafford and Vance Brand. On the Russian side, astronauts Alexei Leonov and Valery Kubasov completed the crew.
