EGYPTIAN COFFIN FRAGMENT WITH DUAMUTEF. Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A wood coffin fragment with a stucco ground and reddish brown painted decoration. Depicted is the mummiform, jackal-headed Duamutef beside a vertical column of hieroglyphs. Size: 300mm x 120mm; Weight: 295g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired on the German art market; Ex Hirsch Auction 161, 1989, lot no. 1382; Previously in the Munich collection of Siegfried Obermeier This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Lisa Sartini, Egyptologist PHD of Chimera Heritage Consultants.
