RARE EGYPTIAN GRANODIORITE TEMPLE STELE FRAGMENT WITH NECTANEBO II MAKING AN OFFERING TO OSIRIS, HOR.
Late Period, 30th Dynasty, reign of Nectanebo II, Ca. 359 - 341 BC. A granodiorite upper section of a temple stele, preserving a ritual scene with Nectanebo II at right, only the upper body surviving, wearing the double crown and raising the hieroglyph for “field” in offering before Osiris, Horus, and Isis standing opposite. Above the field sign are two royal cartouches with the names of Nectanebo II. The upper circular area is occupied by a winged sun disk flanked by two uraei suspended at the sides, each with a shen ring and two horizontal ostrich feathers.
