RARE EGYPTIAN SANDSTONE TEMPLE RELIEF WITH A GODDESS.
Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 332 - 30 BC. A Nubian sandstone relief with the upper body of a goddess carved in high relief, depicted in profile to the right. She wears a tripartite wig and a broad collar. Her left hand holds the hieroglyph for "year" and her right hand is raised before her. Probably from a temple complex in Nubia, possibly Kalabsha. Mounted on a modern base.
