EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF HARPOKRATES. Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A bronze figurine of Harpokrates standing nude with the left leg advanced, the right foot with a tenon for insertion. The youthful god is depicted with the right hand raised to his lips and the left arm lowered at his side. He wears a cap with uraeus and the sidelock of youth. Size: 95mm x 30mm; Weight: 110g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier with F.A. in Brussels; originating from a Belgian collection formed circa 1970s–1990s.
