EGYPTIAN BRONZE DAGGER WITH WOODEN DOUBLE FALCON / HORUS HEAD POMMEL. New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A bronze dagger with a fullered leaf-shaped blade tapering to a rounded point, fitted with a hilt with a flaring guard, a broad flat grip, and a wooden pommel formed as opposing falcon heads with incised details. Size: 280mm x 80mm; Weight: 415g Provenance: Private UK collection; ex Oxfordshire ancient art collection; ex Canadian collection, 1970s–2000. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
