EGYPTIAN BRONZE DAGGER WITH LUNAR BONE POMMEL AND LAPIS LAZULI INLAYS.
Middle Kingdom to Second Intermediate Period, Ca. 2055 - 1550 BC. A bronze dagger with a tapering blade cast with a central rib and converging edges to a pointed tip. The shoulders broaden to a crescentic guard. The grip is inlaid with lapis lazuli and bone and terminates in a bone pommel with two openings.
