RARE EGYPTIAN MUMMY BANDAGE OF DJEDHOR - BOOK OF THE DEAD.
Ca. 4th century BC.
A mummy linen bandage with the name of the owner Djedhor, whose mother was called Tadiousir. Inscriptions in hieratic, texts belonging to the Book of the Dead, illustrations of funerary scenes. Framed.
Size: 560mm x 360mm; Weight: 2.88kg
Provenance: Private UK collection, acquired on the French art market, 1970s.
