LARGE EGYPTIAN ROCK CRYSTAL SCARAB. Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. A rock crystal scarab with a convex back and a semi-circular head beneath a notched clypeus, the pronotum and elytra divided by double lines, the wing cases separated by three longitudinal lines, and the legs tucked beneath the body.
