GREEK PERIOD GREY-BLUE CHALCEDONY CYLINDER SEAL WITH HORNED WINGED LIONS AND AHURA MAZDA.
Ca. 500 - 330 BC.
A grey-blue chalcedony cylinder seal, drilled longitudinally and engraved with two horned winged lions confronted on either side of a lotus flower on a tall stem. Ahura Mazda appears above in a winged disk, facing left.
