A bronze helmet crest of broad triangular outline, with a raised central ridge, each face decorated with concentric circles and bordered by an inner band of short vertical incisions and an outer beaded border. Size: 340mm x 225mm; Weight: 420g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired on the German art market; Private collection in the Rhineland, acquired on the German art market in the 1980s.
