ROMAN SILVER-GILT MEDALLION WITH CERES AND ISIS.
Ca. AD 1 - 200.
A silver-gilt medallion with a ribbed suspension loop and a beaded outer rim. The obverse is set with an inset oval panel enclosed by a braided border and engraved with Ceres and Isis standing on a groundline. Ceres stands at left, holding a branch. Isis stands opposite in a belted tunic and holds a long staff. The reverse is plain.
