SASSANIAN AMBER CUT GLASS BEAKER. Ca. AD 500 - 700. An amber glass beaker with a cylindrical body tapering slightly to the base, set on a thick disc-shaped foot. The exterior is decorated with alternating rows of large wheel-cut oval facets. The rim is plain and slightly everted. For similar see: Miho Museum Inv.
