A polychrome mosaic panel with two long-legged wading birds standing amid curling aquatic plants, their bodies turned in profile with elongated beaks and slender legs set against a light ground. Below, a broad interlaced border runs across the width of the panel. Size: 1160mm x 1890mm; Weight: g Provenance: Private London Collection, acquired on the Austrian Art Market; Ex Austrian Private Collection; Ex. UK Art Market (2000); Ex. French Art Market.
