GREEK ANATOLIAN BRONZE DAGGER WITH BONE HANDLE. Ca. 1500 - 1000 BC. A bronze dagger with a tapering leaf-shaped blade and a pronounced midrib running to the point. The hilt is fitted with a bone grip of wasted form, secured by a pair of rivets, and finished with a rounded pommel. For similar see: N. Size: 440mm x 55mm; Weight: 305g Provenance: London private collection; Previously in a UK art gallery in the 2010's; Ex Richard J. Plant, UK, 1980s-2000s; Previously in the Hans-Ulrich Rutschmann collection, Switzerland, 1970. This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
