NEO-ASSYRIAN AGATE SEAL WITH RAMPANT WINGED LIONS.
Ca. 500 BC.
A banded agate stamp seal with a circular underside engraved with confronted horned and winged rampant lions beneath a winged sun disk, and a recumbent animal carved in high relief on the back, pierced transversely for suspension.
