Ca. 5th millennium BC. A collection of three terracotta idols, each a seated female figure with a flattened head, arms holding ample breasts, and thick parted legs extending forward. The form is reduced to bold, rounded volumes, with painted linear decoration around the head, torso, and legs. For similar see: The Walters Art Museum, Accession Number 48.2741.
