COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN STONE VESSELS. Ca. 2600 - 1069 BC. A collection of four stone vessels, including, from left to right: a squat vessel with a carinated body, short neck, broad flaring rim, and a matching stopper; a tall, inverted piriform vessel with a flattened rim and tapering body on a narrow foot; a globular jar with a wide, circular mouth and a pair of opposing lug handles at the shoulders; and a cylindrical container with straight sides and a flat base. Size: 15-90mm x 15-70mm; Weight: 640g Provenance: Private London collection; previously from a New York private collection assembled in the 1980s.
