EGYPTIAN WOOD STATUETTE OF PTAH-SOKAR-OSIRIS. Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A wood coffin fragment with a plaster ground and reddish brown painted decoration. Depicted is the mummiform, jackal-headed Duamutef beside a vertical column of hieroglyphs reporting his name. Size: 390mm x 70mm; Weight: 385g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired on the German art market; Ex Ursula Nusser auction house in Munich,December 13, 2000; Ex Munich collection of Siegfried Obermeier. This item has a German export licence. This item has been checked against the Art Loss Register database and comes with a confirmation letter.
