COLLECTION OF GREEK RED-FIGURE VESSELS.
Ca. 400 - 300 BC.
A collection of three red-figure vessels, including, from top to bottom: a trefoil oinochoe with a pear-shaped body on a moulded foot, the shoulder painted with radiating strokes, the body with a band of laurel leaves, and the handle rising from the shoulder to above the rim; a lidded lekanis on a low stem, the lid with a central knop and painted with radiating strokes, a frieze of scrolling tendrils and a wave pattern; and a lidded lekanis on a short foot, the lid painted with female heads in profile alternating with radiating palmettes.
