PAIR OF DAUNIAN TERRACOTTA BICHROME VESSELS, JUG AND KYATHOS. Ca. 550 - 400 BC. A pair of terracotta bichrome vessels, from left to right: a jug with a carinated body and short neck beneath a broad, flaring mouth, the strap handle rising to the rim, the exterior painted with horizontal bands in dark brown and red; and a kyathos with a shallow bowl, the upright handle surmounted by a horned finial with pierced eyes and geometric ornament in framed panels, the bowl painted with concentric bands.
