PAIR OF GREEK BLACK-FIGURE LEKYTHOI.
Ca. 540 - 450 BC.
A pair of black-figure lekythoi, each with a tall, cylindrical body on a disc-shaped foot, a narrow neck and a flaring mouth, the shoulder painted with radiating strokes; the one on the left with a plain black-glazed body; and the one on the right with a frieze of palmettes, the lower body with horizontal bands.
