PAIR OF GREEK BLACK-FIGURE SKYPHOI.
Ca. 500 - 480 BC.
A pair of black-figure skyphoi, each with a deep, tapering body on a low foot, a thickened rim and a pair of upright handles, the left painted with a broad frieze divided into panels filled with undulating lines; the right painted with a frieze of ivy leaves alternating with sinuous tendrils.
