ROMAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF LAR.
Ca. AD 1 - 300.
A bronze figurine of a Lar standing in a lively pose, with the left leg advanced, the left arm raised holding a rhyton, and the right arm lowered at his side. He wears a short belted tunic with a cloak draped over the shoulders. The youthful face is framed by thick, curling hair.

Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier with F.A. in Brussels; originating from a Belgian collection formed circa 1970s–1990s.
