COLLECTION OF ROMAN BRONZE FIGURES OF DEITIES.
Ca. AD 1 - 300. A collection of three bronze figures, including, from left to right: Zeus, bearded and standing nude, with a laurel wreath and a mantle over his left arm; Fortuna, draped and standing, holding a cornucopia; and Artemis of Ephesus, wearing a polos and a long ornamented robe. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number 1805,0703.32, 1865,0103.36; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Object Number: 96.9.400. Size: 50-100mm x 25-40mm; Weight: 190g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960s–2000.
