Description
ROMAN TRANSLUCENT GLASS JUG.
Ca. AD 1 - 200.
A free-blown translucent olive green glass jug with an ovoid body on a broad splaying foot, a short cylindrical neck, and a funnel-shaped mouth. A single applied handle rises from the shoulder to the neck, extends across the middle of the neck, and is pinched along its outer edge to form four semicircular projections.
