ROMAN SILVER JAR AND SPOON WITH ZOOMORPHIC FINIAL. Ca. AD 1 - 300. A silver jar with a rounded body tapering to a short cylindrical neck and set on a narrow flat base, accompanied by a silver spoon with a shallow oval bowl and a long tapering handle terminating in a loop with a zoomorphic finial. Size: 80-190mm x 60-58mm; Weight: 80g Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly in Dr. Roozendaal collection, The Netherlands, 1970s-1980s.
