PAIR OF ROMANO-EGYPTIAN FAIENCE VESSELS. Ca. 200 BC - AD 100. A pair of faience vessels, from left to right: a tall, slender amphoriskos with a tapering body, a narrow neck, and a pair of small loop handles at the shoulder, the surface with a pale glaze; and a globular jar with a short neck and an everted rim, the surface with faint greenish glaze. Size: 95-190mm x 65-80mm; Weight: 480g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired in Switzerland; previously with W.R., late 1980s–early 1990s.
