COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN STONE VESSELS. New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A collection of five stone vessels, including, from left to right: a tall jar with a tapering body on a short foot, a thickened rim, and a pair of rounded lugs at the shoulder; a shallow bowl with a wide outturned rim and a rounded underside; a low, broad bowl with a flat base; a cylindrical cup with nearly straight sides and an everted rim; and a dish with rounded sides and a flat rim. Size: 70-180mm x 30-90mm; Weight: 3.17kg Provenance: Private UK collection; previously held in a Swiss collection formed in the late 1980s–early 1990s
