EGYPTIAN CARNELIAN SCARAB.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.
A carnelian scarab with a domed back and a semi-circular head beneath a serrated clypeus, the prothorax separated from the wing cases, with the legs cut at the sides, pierced longitudinally. The underside is flat and plain.
