EGYPTIAN QUARTZ SCARAB.
Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC.
A quartz scarab with a convex back and a semi-circular head beneath a notched clypeus, the pronotum and elytra divided by a single line and the legs tucked beneath the body, pierced longitudinally. The underside is flat and plain.
