EGYPTIAN GOLD AND STONE FISH AMULET.
Middle Kingdom, Ca. 2055 - 1790 BC. A gold amulet in the form of a fish with an oval body inlaid with stone, and broad fin and tail engraved with diagonal hatchings. A small suspension loop projects from the mouth. For similar see: The British Museum, Museum number EA30484.
