COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN ALABASTER VESSELS. New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A collection of four alabaster jars, including, from top to bottom: a tall beaker with tapering walls and a flat base; an inverted piriform vase with a short neck and a thickened rim; a cylindrical cup with a broad, flat rim; and a biconical jar on a disc-shaped foot, with a cylindrical neck and a plain rim. Size: 65-115mm x 60-90mm; Weight: 1.51kg Provenance: Private UK collection; previously held in a Swiss collection formed in the late 1980s–early 1990s
