PAIR OF DAUNIAN TERRACOTTA KYATHOI. Ca. 550 - 400 BC. A pair of terracotta kyathoi, each with a shallow bowl and an upright handle panel rising from the rim, the left with a tall, broad handle surmounted by a horned finial and painted with framed geometric panels, the exterior with horizontal bands, the interior with concentric bands; the right with a handle panel terminating in two circular elements, painted with linear borders and geometric panels, the interior with concentric bands centred on a framed square motif.
