Description
ETRUSCAN BLACK-GLAZED OINOCHOE WITH GEOMETRIC DECORATION.
Ca. 650 - 550 BC.
A black-glazed oinochoe with an ovoid body on a low foot, a short neck beneath a trefoil spout and a single strap handle rising from the shoulder to the rim. The shoulder is incised with friezes of oblique lines and intersecting arcs between bands of concentric circles.
