COLLECTION OF BRONZE AGE / EARLY GREEK PERIOD BRONZE SPEARHEADS. Ca. 1200 - 800 BC. A collection of five bronze spearheads, including, from top to bottom: a long narrow spearhead with a leaf-shaped blade, a central midrib, and a tubular socket with a collar at the mouth; a broad spearhead with a pronounced midrib and a short tang; a slender spearhead with a strong midrib, rounded shoulders, and a riveted tang; a narrow spearhead with a rounded blade and a short socket; and a spearhead with an elongated leaf-shaped blade, a low central ridge, and a narrow tang. Size: 325-395mm x 45-65mm; Weight: 1.07kg Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Belgium; previously held in a Netherlands collection dating to the 1970s–1980s.
