Description
COLLECTION OF GREEK TERRACOTTA BICHROME VESSELS.
Ca. 500 - 300 BC.
A collection of three terracotta bichrome vessels, including, from top to bottom: a flaring bowl with everted rim and deep body on a ring foot, the interior with concentric bands; an askos with flattened ovoid body, cylindrical neck with flaring mouth and a pointed false spout, painted with broad bands and panels; and a footed bowl with wide, shallow basin on a tall stem and spreading foot, the interior with concentric circles around the centre.

Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier circulating on the Netherlands art market in the 1980s.
