Description
LATE ROMAN GLASS JUG.
Ca. AD 300 - 500.
A free-blown translucent pale green glass jug with a piriform body, a tall cylindrical neck opening to a flaring mouth with a folded rim, and a strap handle drawn from the rim to the shoulder. The vessel has a concave base with a pontil scar.
