LATE ROMAN GLASS FLASK. Ca. AD 300 - 500. A free-blown blue-green glass flask with a rounded body and a broad cylindrical neck below a collared mouth. Applied trails encircle the body at uneven intervals, and the vessel stands on a concave base with a pontil mark. For similar see: R. A. Size: 130mm x 120mm; Weight: 385g Provenance: From a private London collection; earlier held in an old family collection formed over the period 1960s–2000. This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
