LATE ROMAN GLASS JUG. Ca. AD 300 - 400. A translucent pale green glass jug with an onion-shaped body decorated with vertical fluting, a tall cylindrical neck widening to a funnel mouth, and a strap handle attached between the rim and the shoulder. An applied horizontal trail encircles the middle of the neck. Size: 130mm x 90mm; Weight: 80g Provenance: Private UK collection; acquired on the London art market; previously in the collection of D. Ruskin, Oxford, 1990s.
