Description
LATE ROMAN GLASS JUG. Ca. AD 300 - 400. A bichrome free-blown glass jug with a translucent amber body and a green strap handle drawn from the rim to the shoulder. The vessel has a bell-shaped body, a cylindrical neck, and a broad funnel mouth with a folded rim. Two applied horizontal trails encircle the lower part of the neck, and a further trail is applied at the upper part. For similar see: R. A.
