COLLECTION OF BYZANTINE TERRACOTTA GRENADES WITH STAMPED MOTIFS. Ca. AD 1000 - 1200. A collection of three terracotta grenades, each with a rounded body tapering to a pointed tip and a short neck with a domed mouth, including, from top to bottom: one decorated with stamped bands of triangles and lozenges; one with stamped motifs at the shoulder and incised lines at the midsection and lower body; and one plain example with a stepped neck.
