ISLAMIC BRONZE INCENSE BURNER AND SILVER-INLAID COPPER BOWL.
Ca. AD 1100 - 1600.
A pair of vessels, from left to right: a bronze incense burner with a broad, rounded body tapering to a short foot, pierced with large roundels of openwork rosettes and scrolling foliage; and a squat copper bowl with a short neck and a compressed rounded body, richly inlaid in silver with a broad calligraphic band enclosed by scrolling vegetal motifs.
